Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the FitAwaken app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Vinodh (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. The Application offers free functionality with optional paid subscription tiers (Awaken Prime and Awaken Elite). This service is intended for use "AS IS".

Information Collection and Use

The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include:

• Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g., IP address)
• The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages
• The time spent on the Application
• The operating system and device information of your mobile device

The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.

Personally Identifiable Information

For a better experience, while using the Application, the Service Provider may require you to provide certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to:

• Email address and Name (collected via Google Sign-In during account creation)
• Age, Gender, Height, and Weight (collected during onboarding for workout and nutrition personalization)
• Fitness goals (selected during onboarding)
• Workout session logs and progress data (recorded during use of the Application)
• Diet and nutrition entries (food names, quantities, and macronutrient data entered manually or via AI-powered meal scanning)
• Meal photographs (captured via your device camera for AI-powered nutritional analysis)
• Health and fitness data (steps and calories burned, read from Google Health Connect with your explicit permission)
• Subscription and purchase information (managed by RevenueCat for in-app subscriptions)

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Features

The Application uses Google's Generative AI (Gemini) technology to provide the following features:

• AI Audio Coach — real-time workout coaching and form guidance
• Gym Bro Chat — AI-powered fitness and nutrition advice chatbot
• AI Diet Plan Generator — personalized meal plan creation
• Meal Image Scan — nutritional analysis from meal photographs

When you use these AI features, your inputs (text prompts, meal photographs, fitness data) are sent to Google's Generative AI servers for processing. The AI processes this data solely to deliver the requested functionality and does not retain your data beyond the immediate request.

Important: AI-generated content is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, or fitness advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making health-related decisions.

Advertising

The Application displays advertisements to free-tier (Awaken Lite) users via Google AdMob. Ad formats include banner ads, interstitial (full-screen) ads, and rewarded video ads. Paid subscribers (Awaken Prime and Awaken Elite) do not see advertisements.

AdMob may use device identifiers and usage data to serve ads. You can manage your ad personalization preferences through your device's Google Settings under "Ads." For more information, see Google's Advertising Privacy Policy.

Device Permissions

The Application may request the following permissions:

• Camera: To capture meal photographs for AI-powered nutritional analysis
• Health Connect: To read step count and calories burned for fitness tracking
• Activity Recognition: To detect physical activity for fitness tracking on older Android versions
• Notifications: To send workout reminder notifications
• Internet: Required for cloud sync, AI features, authentication, and advertisements
• Wake Lock: To keep the screen active during workout sessions

Health Data

The Application reads health data (Step count, Active calories burned, Total calories burned) from Google Health Connect, only with your explicit permission. This health data is used solely to display your fitness activity within the Application. Health data is not sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising purposes.

Third-Party Services

The Application utilizes the following third-party services, each with their own Privacy Policies regarding data handling: Google Play Services, Google Sign-In, Google AdMob, Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Authentication, Firebase Cloud Firestore, Firebase Storage, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Remote Config, Google Generative AI (Gemini), and RevenueCat.

In-App Subscriptions

Subscriptions (Awaken Prime, Awaken Elite) are processed through Google Play / App Store and managed by RevenueCat. The Service Provider does not directly collect or store payment information.

Data Retention & Deletion Policy

Data is stored in Firebase under your authenticated user account. If you would like the Service Provider to delete your data, you may delete your account through the Application's Profile settings, or contact admin@fitawaken.com. Requests are processed within 30 days.

Children

The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age.

Security

The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information, including encrypted data transmission via HTTPS/TLS and Firebase Security Rules.
